The exhibition at Villa Franceschi includes works realised live by Alessandro Curadi during various concerts, as well as large-format paintings - oils and acrylics on canvas - depicting the great names of the music scene while playing the instruments that have made them iconic in the collective imagination, painted prominently against backgrounds of uniform colour: the figures of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Dizzie Gillespie, Art Blakey and many other musicians are presented together with saxophone, trumpet, drums, almost as if to ask what colour the music is or what the painting sounds like.
